Job summary

Buckeye Residential Solutions in Ravenna, OH is seeking an NMT Driver- Float (Part Time) to provide safe non-medical transportation for clients. You will maintain records and follow program guidelines, including HIPAA and county case management requirements.

Responsibilities include vehicle safety checks, assisting clients, enforcing seatbelts, completing van inspections, and incident reports. Training is provided and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• No job-related experience necessary.
• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR, CPI, MUI, First Aid, Medication Administration, and Documentation Training certifications (We can train/ provide these for you).
• Must possess a valid, current driver’s license.
• Valid proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to complete and pass a background check, drug screen, and physical per company standards.
• Positive attitude with the desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Interact safely with clients and coworkers.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Carry out transportation-specific ISP requirements.
• Ensure forms and safety equipment are in the vehicle.
• Verify first aid kit and fire extinguisher are present.
• Complete required documentation (van inspections, transportation sheets, incident reports).
• Report client issues to Program Coordinator.
• Assist clients during boarding/alighting and follow traffic laws.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; comply with HIPAA confidentiality.
