Va Meditrans in Virginia is seeking qualified non-emergency medical transportation drivers to join our team. You will work with clients, facilities, and dispatch to ensure safe and comfortable transportation.

Responsibilities include safely loading, transporting, and unloading immobile and wheelchair-bound clients, securing them in vehicles, maintaining clean, well-maintained transport vans, and logging all transports. Weekend availability and overtime opportunities exist.

Qualifikationen

• Able to lift 100+ pounds.
• Clean driving record with no more than two infractions in the past three years.
• Pass a background check and drug screenings.
• Knowledge of the Lynchburg area and surrounding areas (zip codes, streets, regions).
• Strong digital, phone, and written communication skills.
• Be organized, neat, and technologically adept.
• Able to manage competing priorities and handle stressful workloads.

Aufgaben

• Safely loading, transporting, and unloading immobile and wheelchair-bound clients using stretchers or wheelchair-accessible minivans.
• Assist clients into stretchers and wheelchairs and secure them in the vehicle.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and mechanical condition; perform basic upkeep as needed.
• Log all transports on applicable devices and sheets.
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.
