Job summary

SMX is seeking a mid-level IT Specialist to provide NMCI support for our NAWCAD customer in Lakehurst, NJ. The role requires a Top Secret clearance and at least 3 years of IT support experience, focusing on hardware, software, and network issues.

You will maintain NMCI NET data, coordinate with NMCI POCs, and help with equipment provisioning, licenses, and data migrations. This is an on-site opportunity offering competitive benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required; able to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
• 3+ years of IT support experience.
• Experience supporting customers with computer hardware and software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain NMCI POC relationships and ensure clear point-of-contact visibility.
• Maintain NMCI NET data for employees, seats, profiles, transfers and terminations.
• Communicate with NMCI POCs and NAVAIR CTR team to ensure cost-effective seat orders.
• Follow NMCI procedures and attend trainings to stay current with policies.
• Provide technical assistance for software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with desktop/laptop setups, printers, and AV support for meetings.
• Maintain local records and respond to data calls as required.
