Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of IT Support experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid knowledge of IT hardware and software.
• Knowledge of Web and Network architectures and technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively on technical issues with a broad range of customers and fellow employees.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions.
• Problem solving and analytical skills with ability to prioritize daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage user accounts – creation, transfers, reactivations.
• Manage user access to network resources using NET and Active Directory.
• Create and submit purchase requests for new items.
• Maintain asset management using NET.
• Order and issue NMCI assets to users.
• Support users in equipment setup and relocations.
• Move, install, and setup IT hardware (scanners, laptops, desktops).
• Support technology refreshes and application testing initiatives.
• Provide NET Support by creating MACs and assisting with NET buildouts.
• Troubleshoot desktop issues; develop solutions or workarounds.
• Monitor NMCI/NGEN compliance with SLA performance; provide monthly inventory reports.
• Assist in desktop security measures complying with government policies.
• Assist in user training materials and training sessions.
• Support mobile device inventory/setup; assist with fiscal year rollovers and upgrades.
