Job summary

B4Corp in McLean, VA seeks a Data Scientist to perform sophisticated analytics, including NLP, on large unstructured data. You’ll preprocess data, build ETL pipelines, and apply SQL against Oracle databases to organize information for analytics.

You will work with Python NLP libraries (SpaCy, NLTK, Gensim), PyTorch/TensorFlow, and Transformers to develop models, publish findings, create visualizations, and share insights with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated NLP experience with Python libraries and model evaluation.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
• Proficiency in SQL including CTEs, sets, aggregates and subqueries.
• Experience with version control (GitHub) and CI/CD (Jenkins).
• Ability to develop NLP pipelines for large text datasets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sophisticated analysis using deployed tools and NLP.
• Analyze large raw and unstructured data to provide business insights.
• Preprocess and clean structured and unstructured customer data.
• Design and implement advanced ETL code and table configurations.
• Use SQL in Oracle to organize information with analytics.
• Publish analytic results and create ad-hoc reports with visualizations.
• Stay current with enterprise metadata tools and processes.
• Provide NLP subject matter expertise to support initiatives.
• Educate staff on analytics techniques as needed.
