Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a skilled NLP/ML specialist to join our on-site team in Northern VA. This role focuses on analyzing large text datasets, building NLP models, and delivering actionable insights using sponsor templates and Oracle SQL.

Candidates should have TS/SCI with Polygraph, experience with Spacy/Gensim/NLTK, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. Expect collaboration with data scientists and opportunities to influence enterprise NLP initiatives.

Qualifications

• Professional or academic NLP experience, selecting Python libraries and preprocessing steps.
• Experience with NLP libraries (Spacy, Gensim, NLTK) to analyze documents.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
• Experience with HuggingFace transformers and model deployment.
• Experience building text classification and topic modeling models in Python (scikit-learn or deep learning).
• Experience with encoder-decoder and generative language models for NLP tasks.
• Ability to explain methodologies and model results clearly.
• Proficient SQL usage including CTEs, set operations and subqueries.
• Experience with version control (GitHub) and Jenkins.
• Experience leveraging GPUs for accelerated computing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sponsor’s data scientists and engineers to implement NLP requirements.
• Perform advanced analysis on large text data and structured datasets.
• Pre-process/clean data for sponsor datasets and configure ETL processes.
• Develop SQL queries in Oracle to extract relevant analytics.
• Produce ad-hoc reports and data visualizations with sponsor templates.
• Stay updated with sponsor tools and enterprise metadata solutions.
• Provide NLP expertise to staff on ad-hoc basis.
