Job summary

Nestlé USA in Wisconsin is seeking an NLEA Operator for the 3rd shift to join our production team. You will monitor labeling and metal detection systems, verify labels, conduct quality checks, and help ensure pizzas meet specifications.

This role emphasizes food safety, accuracy, and timely production. The position offers a 12-hour shift from 5:20pm to 5:30am, a starting rate of $29.28 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential, and a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days.

Qualifications

  • Follow detailed procedures, quality standards and food safety requirements with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn and operate production software and manufacturing equipment.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based manufacturing environment.
  • Basic English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs frequently; able to bend, stand and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts in hot and cold production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Verify pizzas have correct nutritional labels and stickers; labels present, accurate, and readable.
  • Perform routine metal detector tests to ensure equipment functions and food safety standards are met.
  • Conduct product weight audits using computerized systems to meet specifications.
  • Set up, operate, program, monitor, and tear down labeling and metal detection equipment.
  • Inspect products for quality issues and properly box, label, and document damaged or rejected pizzas.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Assist team members and support other departments as needed.
  • Keep work areas, equipment, and tools clean, organized and safe.
  • Follow all company policies, GMPs, and workplace safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The NLEA Operator plays a vital role in ensuring food safety and product quality by verifying that pizzas are properly labeled and meet company specifications. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Assist team members and support other departments as needed.
