Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring for a production associate responsible for loading, inspecting, and stacking products while keeping the department clean and orderly under supervision. You will palletize cases, transport finished goods, and document QA reports to ensure quality throughout the process.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with overtime when needed and a willingness to learn new equipment. Nestlé emphasizes inclusivity and support for employees across all teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ months of food manufacturing experience in a Nestlé factory preferred.
  • Ability to operate computerized equipment.
  • Willing to work overtime as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Palletize cases on pallets and transport finish goods to shipping.
  • Document QA reports and inspect ingredients for quality.
  • Inspect slicing and sauce equipment before and after use.
  • Feed sandwiches onto wrapper conveyor and carton machine.
  • Assist with training of newly hired personnel and maintain schedules.
  • Maintain clean work areas and perform wash-down of equipment and floors.

POSITION SUMMARY: This job will load, inspect, and stack product and keep the department clean and orderly, under the direction of the Team Leader.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Palletize cases on pallets, Transport finish goods to shipping using pallet jack

Document all QA reports and Inspect all ingredients for quality

Inspect all slicing and sauce making equipment before and after use

Feed sandwiches onto wrapper conveyor

Feed sandwiches onto carton machine

Supply card placer with micro sleeves

Pack prison pack when required

Maintain work areas clean

Sweep and clean all work areas

Perform wash down of source making and slicing equipment

Empty cardboard compactor when required,

Empty all trash barrels and Inedible Barrels

Empty inedible tubs

Request ingredients from receiving when required

Rework sandwiches sauce and scrap dough

Grind Durkee and Inspect

All other duties as directed

Remove all visible soils form the equipment and floors by acceptable method

Pre-rinse and foam all equipment, walls, veiling and floors as necessary

Drying equipment and floors as necessary

Accurate and complete recordkeeping

Assist with training of newly hired personnel or employees transferred to department

Keeping weekly work schedule maintained and turned in to Supervisor

  • 3 or more months of food manufacturing experience in a Nestle factory is preferred
  • Working knowledge of how to operate computerized equipment
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Able to perform in demanding, fast-paced environment
