Job summary

Pennoni is seeking Construction Inspectors to perform daily special inspections and materials testing across New Jersey. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience and NJDCA certifications in one or more areas such as welding, steel and bolting, reinforced concrete, masonry, spray-applied fireproofing, or soils.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience.
• NJDCA Certification in one or more of: Structural Welding; Structural Steel and Bolting; Reinforced Concrete; Structural Masonry; Spray-Applied Fireproofing; Soils

Responsibilities

• Work in the field at construction sites inspecting quality and performing materials testing.
• Monitor compliance with drawings and specifications for concrete, masonry, steel, spray fireproofing, soils.
• Perform field testing of concrete, grout, mortar, fireproofing and nondestructive testing of welds.
• Read drawings, write reports, and coordinate with engineers, contractors and clients.
