Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a NJ Supports Coordinator to guide individuals and families through the DDD system, coordinating with providers and building NJ ISP plans. You will monitor services, ensure policy compliance, and advocate for individuals’ rights in a home- and community-based setting.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, collaboration with families, and timely plan updates, with responsibilities across transitions, budget management, and provider coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Two years’ experience in developmental disabilities or care.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass criminal background checks, central registry checks and child abuse registry (where applicable).
• Must complete and pass a drug test (in applicable states).
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation.
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language.
• Approved by state, federal and government entities to work within BSLS programs.
• Ability to use office equipment and BSLS information technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Always be compliant with all company and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Monitors for quality service delivery.
• Addresses family/individual and provider concerns.
• Attend outside trainings and webinars.
• Ensures compliance with all regulating agencies and internal policy and procedures.
• Cooperates with Beacon Specialized Living during inspections, investigations or inquiries.
