Job summary

Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD) is hiring Support Coordinators to manage services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New Jersey. The role requires strong written communication, collaboration with families and agencies, and the ability to handle paperwork and inspections.

Shifts include 37.5 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $25.79. We offer full-time, part-time and substitute positions across Sussex County and beyond; travel is required to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher is required.
• Significant written documentation experience is required.
• Must have a driver’s license valid in New Jersey and strong office/computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage support coordination services for each participant, including discovery, ISP development, plan coordination and plan monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, participants, families, and other service providers.
• Cooperate with administration and DHS staff during inspections and audits.
