Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, seeks a talented Associate Attorney with extensive litigation experience to join its New Jersey office supporting its Metropolitan New York commercial litigation practice. This role is ideal for a New Jersey–based litigator seeking high-level New York commercial litigation work without the daily Manhattan commute.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New Jersey AND New York, in good standing.
• 4–6 years of substantive commercial litigation experience.
• Federal or state judicial clerkship strongly preferred.
• Law review/journal experience preferred.
• Experience with complex insurance coverage litigation is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle sophisticated commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts across New Jersey and New York.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings as experience allows.
• Support all phases of case management, including strategy development and trial preparation.
• Work closely with senior litigators on complex disputes with high-profile clients.
