Job summary

8Fleet Inc. is seeking a Market Manager to launch and scale New Jersey. You will own footprint, vendors, drivers, and the local operations team, driving performance and regulatory readiness in a brand-new market.

You will lead 24/7 fleet operations, partner with growth on recruitment, and build repeatable processes for future markets, with on-site responsibilities and a focus on delivering profitable growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in operations management or similar.
• 2+ years managing people directly.
• Experience opening a new market/site.
• Data-driven with strong analysis.
• BA/BS or equivalent practical operating experience.
• This role is on-site in New Jersey; relocation may be required.
• Willingness to work the hours of a 24-hour operation.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Launch New Jersey market end-to-end including footprint, vendors, and drivers.
• Own day-to-day fleet operations, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Build and manage local operations team and budget.
• Partner with central teams on licensing, registrations, and compliance.
• Drive market growth through driver recruitment and retention.
• Document learnings to accelerate future market launches.
