Air Products Inc. in Odessa, TX seeks an Operations Technician to monitor and control nitrogen production processes, maintain water chemistry, and perform preventive maintenance. This 8-hour shift role requires rotating on-call coverage for nights and weekends, with safety and reliability as core focuses. You will work with DCS operations under the Site Manager and contribute to safe, efficient plant performance. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating or monitoring industrial process plants preferred.
• Ability to read P&IDs and instrument drawings.

Mansioni

• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Monitor nitrogen production processes and DCS trends.
• Maintain water chemistry.
• Complete daily operating tasks and plant log readings.
• Interact safely with equipment and perform lockout/tagout as needed.
• Support on-call coverage during nights and weekends.
