Air Liquide in Corpus Christi, TX is hiring a Production Technician to maintain plant production, optimize operating efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance and uphold safety standards. The role emphasizes hands-on operation, process understanding and teamwork in a rotating shift environment.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, logs in work systems, adherence to SOPs, and involvement with instrument systems and basic maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work extended hours/shift work as business needs dictate.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Technical Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years of technical training or operations experience; knowledge of instrumentation, rotating equipment and piping systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for operating plants (Process Safety Management, EPA, FDA, state/local regulations).
• Knowledge of lockout/tag-out methods and safety procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Team-oriented with good verbal/written communication.
• Forklift, man lift and overhead crane qualification preferred.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsabilités

• Apply understanding of plant safety rules and company safety policies.
• Foster a safety-minded culture and model safe practices.
• Work safely in all situations.
• Identify maintenance needs and log them in the Maximo work order system.
• Follow SOPs and read blueprints, P&IDs and schematics; perform basic math operations.
• Assist with control room operations and operator interface systems.
• Perform operator rounds, water sampling, truck loading, and PMs.
• Maintain high housekeeping and organization standards.
• Support Plant Management and other team needs as required.
