Job summary

Cretex Medical Component and Device Technologies is seeking a Product Engineer III focused on Nitinol to lead material and device development, validation, and manufacturing support. You will work with product teams, engineering, quality, and manufacturing to translate strategies into detailed plans, deliverables, and process improvements.

The role drives technical execution through NPI, customer development, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; 5 years in the medical device industry.
• Strong knowledge of medical device regulations, quality systems, and risk management processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with simulation tools.
• Experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes, and product testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and commercial teams to understand customer needs and support technical improvements.
• Develop and execute technical action plans, deliverables, and communicate progress and risks.
• Support quoting activities by reviewing technical requirements and providing input on feasibility and development needs.
• Collaborate with customers early to influence development and process capability.
