AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking Systems Support Specialist II personnel to support the NISSC 3 program at Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado. These positions deliver technical and operational support for multiple mission systems by providing onsite and oncall coverage for system administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support in a TS/SCI environment. The Systems Support Specialists will help ensure system availability, data integrity, and highquality operational documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field,
OR Equivalent DoW/Military training in systems administration, network operations, or a related technical discipline.
4–6 years of relevant experience in systems or network administration, systems support, or similar technical roles in secure, missioncritical (DoW or similar) environments.
Expertise in system administration and troubleshooting to support multiple mission systems.
Strong skills in preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system availability and operational readiness.
Experience providing responsive user support and training.
Proficiency in managing process documentation, operational logs, and incident/deficiency reports.
Experience supporting incident response, backup/restore, and documentation activities in accordance with established procedures.
Ability to support performance optimization efforts and oversee compliance with procedural and documentation standards.
Minimum: Active TS/SCI clearance required to start.
Holds a DoW 8140 qualifying certification; one or more of the following (or equivalent) is required/preferred: Cloud+ / GSEC / Security+ / SSCP

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $82,100.00/Yr. - USD $137,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
