First Automotive Group in Simi Valley is seeking a skilled Master/Main Line Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs per manufacturer standards, delivering high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of OEM dealership experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with automotive diagnostic equipment and repair software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
  • Accurately diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using advanced diagnostic equipment and special service tools.
  • Repair and maintain automotive systems including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, electrical systems, and related components.
  • Conduct road tests and quality control inspections to verify repairs and ensure vehicle safety and performance.
  • Communicate findings and recommended repairs clearly with Service Advisors and management.
  • Provide accurate estimates of labor time and additional repair needs.
  • Complete warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer requirements.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate repair documentation.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere while delivering exceptional customer service.
