Morristown Nissan in Morristown, TN is seeking a Certified Nissan Service Technician to join our high-volume shop. You will diagnose and repair Nissan vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and communicate findings clearly to customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Nissan Service Technician certification or Master Tech status preferred.
• Experience in a dealership or busy repair shop environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Nissan mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues per factory standards.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections, fluid checks, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintain safety: ensure repairs comply with dealership guidelines and manufacturer specs.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to clearly communicate vehicle health and repair needs to customers.
• Keep up-to-date with Nissan factory training modules and service bulletins.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose & Repair: Accurately diagnose and repair Nissan mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues according to factory standards.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections, fluid checks, and general maintenance tasks.
• Maintain Safety: Ensure all repairs comply with dealership safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate: Partner with Service Advisors to clearly communicate vehicle health and repair needs to customers.
• Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with Nissan factory training modules and technical service bulletins.

What We’re Looking For

• Credentials: Valid Nissan Service Technician certification or equivalent Master Tech status is highly preferred.
• Experience: Proven track record in an automotive dealership or busy repair shop environment.
• Tools: Must possess your own tools to successfully perform mechanical duties.
• Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a high school diploma/GED.
• Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliable, and driven to produce efficient, high-quality work hours.
