Job summary

Berman Nissan/Infiniti in Niles, IL, seeks a Journeyman/Master Technician for full-time work. You will diagnose and repair vehicles to factory specifications, handling brake, electrical, engine, and suspension systems, and perform advanced diagnostics.

You will use Nissan/Inf Infiniti diagnostic tools and stay current with manufacturer training. The role offers company-paid health insurance, training, PTO, uniforms, and opportunities to work on personal vehicles after hours.

Qualifications

• ASE Certified as a Nissan or Infiniti Journeyman Technician.
• Proven experience in advanced diagnostics, engines, and transmissions.
• Proficiency with modern automotive diagnostic software.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer specifications, including brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel and ignition systems, electrical systems, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and onboard computer systems.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize Nissan/Infiniti diagnostic tools and follow factory repair procedures.
• Stay up to date with evolving automotive technology through ongoing manufacturer training.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Berman Nissan/Infiniti is looking for a Journeyman / Master Technician!

Schedule: Full time, flexible scheduling

Pay: $46–$50 per booked hour (based on ASE certifications and manufacturer training)
