Job summary

Cerritos Nissan is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our professional service department in Cerritos, CA. You will perform repairs and diagnostics on a range of vehicles, following manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.

You will collaborate with Service Advisors to provide accurate time estimates and informed recommendations, while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a teamwork-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Technician.
• ASE Certification is required.
• Strong diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair skills.
• Ability to communicate repair options to customers clearly.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in accordance with dealership standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct thorough diagnostic testing on vehicle components and systems using specialized service equipment.
• Diagnose and maintain complex automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, and HVAC.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure customers are fully informed regarding repair requirements and time estimates.

• Operational Standards: Ability to learn new technologies and service procedures, possess manual dexterity, and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
