Job summary

Berman Auto Group is looking for a Journeyman / Master Technician in Niles, Illinois. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule and a competitive pay rate of $46–$50 per booked hour based on ASE certifications and manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Must be ASE Certified as a Nissan or Infiniti Journeyman Technician.
• Proven experience in diagnostics and repairs of vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and complete repairs accurately.
• Utilize Nissan/Infiniti diagnostic tools and follow factory repair procedures.
• Stay up to date with automotive technology through ongoing training.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer specifications, including brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel and ignition systems, electrical systems, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and onboard computer systems
• Perform advanced diagnostics and complete repairs accurately and efficiently
• Utilize Nissan/Infiniti diagnostic tools and follow factory repair procedures
• Stay up to date with evolving automotive technology through ongoing manufacturer training
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Must be ASE Certified as a Nissan or Infiniti Journeyman Technician
• Proven experience in advanced diagnostics, engines, and transmissions
• Proficiency with modern automotive diagnostic software
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record
