Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a technical and resource leadership role in New Stanton, PA, reporting to the Director, Safety & Reactor System Engineering. The role focuses on managing 15+ personnel in Nuclear Instrumentation Systems, Detectors and Sensors, ensuring quality, safety, and reliability while driving cost-effective engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership with preferred experience in instrumentation & control.
• Experience in I&C systems.
• Knowledge in Nuclear Instrumentation Systems (NIS), Detectors and Sensor systems preferred.
• Ability to develop customer-oriented engineering solutions and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible as a resource and technical manager for 15+ personnel.
• Develop resources and lead people development activities.
• Prepare and implement training plans with emphasis on long-term resource needs.
• Focus on developing engineering skills to add value for the customer.
• Provide feedback, evaluation for merit and promotion and address performance issues.
• Lead the team with a strategic focus, communicate vision and promote aligned culture.
• Develop a safety-conscious work environment and prioritize human performance fundamentals.
• Identify unmet customer needs and create value with appropriate Westinghouse organizations.
• Orchestrate cost-efficient product or service delivery meeting business plan objectives.
• Manage group financial performance including planning, forecast and cost centers.
