Job summary

The Keene Family YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Ninja Team Head Coach to lead our youth program with energy and safety. You will coach ninja practices, build positive relationships with members, and communicate with parents, while ensuring activities align with YMCA policies and core values.

The role requires 1–2 years of coaching children aged 1–12, knowledge of ninja obstacles, and a commitment to creating a fun, educational environment. Certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching children ages 1–12 in a sports or activity setting.
• Knowledge of ninja obstacle courses and equipment safety.
• Ability to follow YMCA policies and procedures with professionalism.
• Ninja Coaching Certificate is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, high-quality coaching to all ninja team levels in a safe, fun environment.
• Lead practices, adjust lesson plans, and communicate with team parents and other coaches.
• Attend ninja competitions and events to support team growth and exposure.
• Uphold YMCA policies, safety procedures, and code of conduct.
• Represent the YMCA with a positive, energetic professional image.
