Job summary

Crossroads YMCA is seeking a Program Coordinator to help build athletic and character development for children through Ninja sport. You will train coaches, oversee curriculum, and foster strong relationships with participants and parents, promoting the YMCA mission and campaigns.

The role requires 3+ years teaching related disciplines, 18+ age, and completion of Ninja Zone training with CPR/AED/First Aid within 30 days of hire. A dynamic, community-focused leader will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school degree (preferred).
• At least 3 years of prior experience teaching gymnastics, martial arts, or parkour.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with participants and parents.
• Complete Ninja Zone training prior to start.
• Knowledge of youth developmental stages and applying learning to curriculum development and classroom management.
• CPR/AED & First Aid certification within 30 days of hire; wellness e-learning courses required.

Responsibilities

• Builds the foundation for athletic and character development through Ninja sport.
• Inspires confidence in kids, families, and the community at large.
• Oversees curriculum within stations and trains new Ninja Zone Coaches.
• Communicates progress with parents/guardians as appropriate.
• Promotes YMCA programs and supports annual campaigns.
