Wytheville Community College is seeking a full-time, nine-month Dental Hygiene faculty member to teach didactic, preclinic lab, and clinical courses in the A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene and the Career Studies Certificate in Dental Assisting, aligned with CODA standards.

The role includes student advising, clinical site supervision, curriculum review, assessment of outcomes, infection control, and participation in college and division committees, with opportunities to engage in community partnerships.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene and an associate’s degree in dental hygiene.
• Current, unencumbered RDH license in Virginia or eligible for Virginia licensure.
• Current certification for local anesthesia administration and nitrous oxide analgesia.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time clinical practice as a licensed RDH.
