Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Grants and Contracts Administrator to support NIH pre-award submissions and manage multi-component applications. You will coordinate with investigators, study staff and UNC offices to ensure timely, compliant submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience.
• All degrees must be from accredited institutions.
• Preference for prior NIH pre-award process experience and UNC system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation and coordination of NIH pre-award submissions, ensuring alignment with ACTG priorities and sponsor requirements
• Track and manage proposal timelines and deliverables to support timely submission of complex, multi-component applications
• Develop and compile proposal components, including budgets, budget justifications, biosketches, letters of support and supporting documentation
• Facilitate communication between ACTG investigators, study staff, and UNC institutional offices to resolve pre-award submission needs
• Review proposal packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to routing through RAMSeS and OSP submission
