Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery 3W. This full-time night shift supports weekend coverage from 7:00pm to 7:00am, offering 36 hours per week at Mercy.

You will provide direct patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license in Missouri, BLS certification, and a minimum of two years of patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Must hold a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and team members.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Demonstrate professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
