Job summary

Pasadena Villa – The Grove in Locust Grove, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the night shift. You will collaborate with the medical team to provide comprehensive nursing care in a residential behavioral health setting, including medication administration and health assessments.

Responsibilities include documenting in Sunwave, transcribing orders, coordinating with pharmacy and labs, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment for clients.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Hold a current RN license within the state of Virginia.
• Previous experience in behavioral healthcare strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides a comprehensive nursing assessment identifying medical needs and plan of care.
• Records and transcribes physicians orders; transmits STAT orders promptly.
• Administers medications per physician orders and MAR.
• Coordinates pharmacy and laboratory orders, delivery, and refills.
• Maintains security for controlled medications and tracks usage.
• Documents nursing observations and daily notes in Sunwave in a timely manner.
