Job summary

Rosenboom Machine & Tool in Sheldon, IA is seeking a Material Handler to support production. In this hands-on role, you'll safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, move materials throughout the facility, and help keep production moving smoothly.

You will maintain accurate inventory records, log materials with onboard tablets and inventory software, organize and stage supplies, and ensure the production and shipping teams have what they need when they need it, while

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts or similar powered equipment.
• Ability to maintain and log inventory movements.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures.
• Clear communication in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely to transport materials throughout the facility.
• Supply production areas with empty containers, pallets, crates, and other necessary materials to keep operations running efficiently.
• Organize and stage materials to ensure production and shipping teams have timely access to the products and supplies they need.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by logging material movements and transactions using onboard tablets and inventory software.
• Consistently follows safety procedures and operates forklifts and other equipment safely.
• Effectively organizes materials and prioritizes tasks to ensure production and shipping have what they need when they need it.
• Maintains accurate inventory records and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in daily work.
• Effectively reads, understands, and communicates information in English, both verbally and electronically.
