Job summary

Preform Solutions, INC. is seeking a dedicated Material Handler Shift Lead to supervise the night shift in Sioux Falls, SD. You will assist with machine start-ups/shut-downs, adjust equipment for quality, and lead the Material Handlers to meet production needs.

The role requires prior supervisory and manufacturing experience, strong mechanical ability, and excellent communication. You will operate forklifts, perform quality checks, and ensure safety and efficiency on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Material Handlers to meet production needs.
• Provide direction to Material Handlers to prioritize tasks.
• Move and scan finished product into inventory; build boxes; monitor material levels; perform quality checks.
• Ensure quality audits are conducted twice per shift.
• Monitor lines for quality issues and address promptly.
• Operate forklifts and add materials to machines to maintain production.
• Perform start-ups/shut-downs of machines as needed.
• Communicate production issues to management.
• Make processing corrections on blow/injection molding machines to ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to work alongside and supervise Material Handling and ensure smooth operation of our production lines in Sioux Falls, SD. The Material Handler Shift Lead will assist with machine processing including all start-ups and shut-downs during the shift, and making adjustments to machines to improve product quality. The Shift Lead is the first point of contact for the Material Handlers that report to the Weekday Nightshift. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of production and offers the opportunity to be part of a team that values excellence.

Responsibilities

• The Shift Lead will work alongside the Material Handlers on the shift to ensure production needs are met
• Provide direction to Material Handlers to ensure tasks during the shift are prioritized
• Work in Material Handling, completingduties such as scanning and moving completed product into inventory, building boxes, monitoring material levels, and completing quality checks
• Ensure quality audits are being completed twice during each shift
• Monitor production lines for quality issues and address them promptly
• Operate forklifts and add materials to machines to maintain production
• Perform shut-down and start-up of machines/equipment as needed
• Communicate production issues to management
• Make processing corrections as needed on both blow molding and injection molding machines to ensure quality product is being produced
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

Compensation

Starting wage of $26/hour + differential pay for applicable hours (see details below).Shift differential may vary based upon actual hours worked.

Schedule

**This position will be for Weekday Nightshift. Training schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm before moving to regular schedule.
Weekday Nightshift Starting Pay $26.00 +$1.25 shift differential during qualifying hours:

• Monday-Wednesday 7pm-7am
• Thursday 7pm-1am
