Job summary

The WebstaurantStore in Hagerstown, MD is seeking an Inventory Control Assistant Manager to lead our IC department, oversee cycle counting, replenishment, and product placement while ensuring adherence to SOPs and accuracy across the site.

You will build and develop a high-performing team, drive process improvements, and align with leadership to meet operational goals. Transition to 2B shift begins Nov 1, 2026; training is 1C/2A prior to then.

Qualifications

• Train, coach, develop and hold accountable up to X employees to achieve operational metrics.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy with cycle counts and audits.
• Establish collaborative relationship with procurement and emphasize communication.
• Ensure receiving, stocking, and shipping quality through analysis and new strategies.
• Generate reporting to improve accuracy and oversee improvement projects.
• Rotate food products properly and communicate issues with procurement.
• Lead weekly and monthly meetings to discuss metrics and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for productivity growth, cost reduction, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cycle counting, replenishment, expediting, and product placement to maximize cubic efficiency.
• Lead the IC team and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Collaborate with facilities for storage planning and dead stock elimination.
• Monitor daily/weekly/monthly metrics for receiving and distribution.
