Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) at GBMC Hospital in Towson. Under nurse supervision, the CNA will assist with direct and indirect patient care, maintaining safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, Maryland CNA registration, CPR certification, and 6 months of direct care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Heart Saver (CPR) certification required.
• Maryland CNA registration in good standing required.
• At least 6 months direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses in providing direct and indirect patient care under supervision.
• Perform and document delegated nursing tasks and vital signs.
• Help patients with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, nutrition) as needed.
• Observe patient status and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain infection control and safety practices.
