Line and Prep Cooks Role

Prepare and cook tacos, meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot foods. Also, handle food prep, plating, garnishing, and portioning.

Schedule and Compensation

Must be willing to work Nights and Weekends. Starting pay is $15/hour. An additional $2/hour is offered for Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of all served products
• Follow portion sizes, cooking methods, and standards
• Maintain stock levels and cleanliness
• Prepare items using various cooking methods
• Follow proper presentation and garnish procedures
• Properly handle, store, and rotate products
• Assist in food prep and kitchen closing procedures
• Attend meetings and suggest improvements

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old
• Ability to work quickly and solve problems
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Work in hot and noisy environments
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Leadership and communication skills
• Availability to work long hours, nights, and weekends
• Food handler’s and/or alcohol certification may be required

Experience

• Back of House experience required
