Job Summary:
As a Cook at Crab Cab, you are at the heart of our kitchen, responsible for preparing fresh, flavorful meals that exceed guest expectations. You will follow recipes, maintain food quality standards, and work efficiently under pressure to ensure that every dish is delivered on time and with care. Your role is essential in maintaining the consistency and excellence that Crab Cab is known for, contributing to an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure food is prepared and served on time, adhering to quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
  • Work closely with the Kitchen Manager and other cooks to ensure smooth operation.
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist with prepping ingredients and setting up stations for service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow recipes and presentation standards accurately.
