Job summary

Rite of Passage is seeking a Night Youth Care Worker at the Daytona Juvenile Residential Facility in Daytona Beach, Florida. You will provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for youth, monitor behaviors, and support educational and recreational activities on a 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM schedule (4 nights on, 3 off).

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, 1 year of experience, a valid Florida driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of equivalent experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid State Driver’s license and have acceptable driving record for past 3 years.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for youth.
• Monitor and document student behaviors and activities.
• Assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with professional staff to meet each student’s treatment goals.
