US FOODS Yard Jockey Non-CDL in Fort Mill, SC offers a hands-on role within our transportation team, coordinating with Dispatch/Router to assign trucks and trailers and ensuring equipment is ready for operation. Starting pay is $24.91 per hour with overtime; schedule Sunday through Thursday, 6 PM until finish.

You’ll load, unload, move trailers, stage at night, and work with mechanics to keep equipment reliable.

Formación

• Six months of non-CDL commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license for your state.
• DOT physical examination required.
• Manual transmission experience preferred; may be required at some locations.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with the Dispatcher/Router to manage truck and trailer assignments.
• Keep all assigned equipment coupled and ready for use.
• Move trailers between buildings as directed by the Router or Warehouse Supervisor.
• Load, unload, or merge loads as needed between environments.
• Prepare shuttle trailers each night for our shuttle drivers.
• Set up trailers for backhauls, including tractors and pallets.
• Ensure backhauls are placed in the correct door for unloading by the warehouse team.
• Make sure all equipment is paired and prepared for the next day’s deliveries.
• Work closely with mechanics each night to maintain equipment reliability.
• Attend all required company meetings and trainings.
• Adaptability: all other duties assigned by management.
