Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a Yard Driver to manage yard operations at our Saddle Creek yard locations. You will safely maneuver tractors and trailers, perform yard checks, and coordinate with yard management to meet delivery schedules.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of yard/trailer experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and weekly pay, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer yard/warehouse experience.
• Ability to work independently and provide good customer service.
• Willing to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver tractor-trailer in a yard.
• Complete yard checks daily.
• Move trailers to shipping doors and manage doors.
• Perform pre- and post-shift safety inspections.
• Keep tractor clean and sanitary.
• Maintain safe backing and maneuvering; follow safety policies.
