Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for night and weekend shifts to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes across South Austin, Kyle, and Buda. You'll follow care plans, document care, assess patient needs, and communicate with families and our local team.

Training, mentorship, and a supportive culture are provided, along with benefits and flexible scheduling. This role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and the ability to travel between patient homes;

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• TB test completed within 12 months and up-to-date immunizations.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Reliable transportation to patient locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate skilled nursing care per care plan.
• Observe and assess patient condition; report changes to supervisor/physician.
• Document nursing actions and updates in patient records promptly.
• Develop, implement and update the nursing care plan.
• Maintain infection control per OSHA standards.
• Educate patient and family on disease process and self-care.
