Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in Austin is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our night-shift, part-time team. The RN will provide skilled home nursing care to an adult client, documenting care and coordinating with the care team.

The role offers flexible scheduling, with nights and PRN opportunities, and 24/7 local support. Qualified candidates hold an active RN license in Texas, CPR certification, and are able to travel to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Must have active RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (hands-on component) required.
• TB test within last 12 months.
• Six months nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care per physician orders.
• Observe and assess patient condition and report changes to supervisor/physician.
• Document all nursing activities promptly and accurately.
• Develop, implement and update the nursing care plan.
• Respond to changes in patient needs to prevent or reduce risk.
• Comply with policies, regulations and Nurse Practice Act.
• Provide infection control in home settings and educate patient/family.
• Maintain nursing competencies through ongoing education.
