Job summary

Nexstar Media Group is seeking a Content Desk Producer to identify and produce high-value local content for broadcast and digital platforms, including NewsNation and The Hill. You will curate material for national audiences and coordinate distribution across TV, streaming, social media, and websites.

Responsibilities include writing scripts, editing video, and producing for live and on-demand formats while meeting journalistic standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years in broadcast/digital news.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, produces, curates and distributes content across Nexstar platforms.
• Coordinate live events and distribute content to newsrooms nationwide.
• Monitor breaking news and develop enterprise stories for local to national audiences.
• Write, edit and produce scripts for broadcast and digital use.
• Overnight, weekend and holiday hours required as needed.
