Nexstar Media Group, Inc. seeks a Multi-Platform News Producer to develop and produce content across television, digital, and social platforms. You will originate stories from tips, verify information, and craft engaging stories with videos and graphics for TV, streaming, web, apps, and social channels.

Flexibility for early mornings, nights, and weekends is required. You will monitor sources, pursue exclusive content, and tailor content to each platform while using analytics to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in journalism including television or digital news.
• Ability to be fast and first at breaking news; weather coverage a plus.
• Strong news writing for digital and broadcast.
• Ability to write for both digital and broadcast.
• Proficient with AP Style and newsroom tools.

Responsabilités

• Create news content for television, digital and social platforms.
• Verify information, write stories and create videos/graphics.
• Origin content for TV, streaming, website, apps and social media.
• Produce breaking news content including push alerts and digital articles.
• Edit and clip video content for multiple platforms.
• Promote and distribute news content across platforms.
• Demonstrate strong news judgement and attention to detail.
