Job summary

Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center in Marietta, GA invites an experienced Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join on nights and weekends. This full-time role requires hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, with a focus on rapid response to service calls.

You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and coordinate with electricians, carpenters, painters, and other staff while ensuring compliance with current codes.

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience required, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, commercial kitchen and general building construction.
• State certification or licensure where required.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Physically capable of office-like tasks and able to lift 10–25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within 30 minutes from time call is received.
• Determine defects, troubleshoot malfunctions and take corrective action as needed.
• Follow procedures for repair, maintenance, alteration and installation work.
• Comply with latest local, county, state and federal codes and requirements.
• Coordinate with electricians, carpenters, painters and night engineer for service and installation work.
