Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to help customers from the register to their vehicle, keep the store clean, stocked, and welcoming. Night and weekend shifts are required, and you will assist in multiple store areas as needed. Training is provided for all listed duties.

In this role you’ll engage customers with a smile, stock shelves, check prices, and keep common areas orderly while supporting a friendly, team-oriented store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Perform basic addition, subtraction and counting accurately.
• Understand directions and communicate supply needs.
• Work well in a team to maintain store cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers.
• Package purchases and help transport to customers' vehicles.
• Stock merchandise, rotate items, and keep shelves neat.
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room and floors as needed.
• Assist in other areas and train new courtesy clerks.
• Deliver products and work across departments as needed.
