Hy-Vee is seeking a friendly Courtesy Clerk to greet customers, assist with purchases, and keep the store welcoming and clean. You’ll help customers, bag items, and transport purchases to their vehicle, while maintaining safety and smiling throughout your shift.

No education or prior experience required; Hy-Vee provides all training. This role keeps you active, supports teamwork, and offers opportunities to grow in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Frequently stand and walk throughout a shift in sales, food service, or delivery areas

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile, learning their names, and going out of your way to make every visit a great one
• Package customer purchases and assist customers in transporting them to their mode of transportation
• Bring carts in from the parking lot and cart corrals throughout your shift
• Clean registers, restrooms, the break room, and the backroom, and sweep and mop floors as needed
• Stock, face, and rotate merchandise, clean shelves, understand shelf tags, and know the location of merchandise in the store and backroom
• Pull product forward on shelves to maintain a full, organized appearance
• Check prices on products as needed
• Maintain front end supplies including paper and plastic bags, receipt paper, and other necessary items
• Help train new courtesy clerks
• Deliver product to customers and assist in all departments as requested within wage and hour guidelines
• Shovel, salt, and sand walkways as needed
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects as assigned
• Maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene, dress standards, and all Hy‑Vee policies and store guidelines
• Report to work when scheduled and on time
