Hy-Vee in New Prague, MN is hiring a Bakery Clerk. You review daily orders, prepare and replenish bakery products, and deliver friendly, efficient service to customers and teammates.

You will handle orders at the bakery counter, maintain cleanliness, follow sanitation procedures, and work with the team to ensure product freshness and accurate production lists. Night and weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or equivalent with at least six months of related work experience.
• Ability to perform medium physical work (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store.
• Assist customers by locating products and taking orders at the bakery counter.
• Ensure product freshness and maintain clean, sanitary work area.
• Operate department registers and handle payments when required.
• Follow company policies and production lists and ensure production readiness.
