Job summary

The Stover Group is seeking an Operations Specialist to operate and maintain wastewater facilities in West Jordan, UT. This full-time, night-shift role offers guaranteed overtime and a unique 3-3/4 day schedule with in-person duties.

Responsibilities include using hand tools, inspecting equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and performing routine tests. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and can lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or six months related experience and/or a combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Use common hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, grease guns, and pipe wrenches.
• Inspect equipment and monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges to prevent downtime or upsets.
• Maintain clean work areas, hand and power tools, equipment, and facilities.
• Perform routine minimum control tests.
• Assist with facility maintenance.
• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning of all related facilities.
• Maintain working relationship with all employees.
• Communicate data and information relative to daily operations in operator logbooks and at shift change.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Perform required tasks in a timely manner.
