Job summary

Holiday Wholesale, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Translator to join the Night Warehouse team. You will translate oral speech and written text from Spanish to English and vice versa in a variety of contexts, supporting smooth operations after hours.

You will translate meetings, assist with reports, and help train Spanish-speaking employees while upholding confidentiality and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment. A $1.00 attendance bonus is offered for all scheduled shifts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Holiday Wholesale is looking for a Translator to join our Night Warehouse team. The Translator will translate oral speech and written text from Spanish to English and vise versa in a variety of contexts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Understands and analyzes what is being said or written, and effectively and accurately translates the message and intent being communicated.
• Translate statements or questions in the desired language.
• Work with employees to translate work-related issues to the Manager.
• Attend and translate meetings to help facilitate effective conversations between Spanish speaking and English speaker employees.
• Help with office work as needed, such as running reports.
• Assist with training Spanish speaking employees and help answer any job-related questions.
• Protect the confidentiality of information and adhere to any related ethical or professional codes.
• Hand selects orders for customers using a voice operated headset in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Be able to walk for most of the shift on concrete floors or rubber mats, searching for and retrieving product items from sales orders.
• Sort picked product by destination stop.
• Work in an area with moving industrial equipment such as forklifts and electric stackers.
• Any other associated function required to complete the tasks assigned by the Manager according to the Team Member's skills and abilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Night warehouse works Monday - Thursday, starting at 5:00 PM and work until done. Work all scheduled shifts and receive a $1.00 attendance bonus! *****
