Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Lead Warehouse Worker for our Princeton, Indiana operation. You will lead a team of associates, ensure safety and productivity, and coordinate with Supervisors to meet expectations.

The role requires forklift experience, inventory management, and strong computer skills. The position is a full-time night shift with opportunities for overtime, and the site emphasizes safety and reliability in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• 4 years of warehouse experience required.
• 2 years of inventory or materials management experience preferred.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior forklift certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of warehouse associates to achieve operational goals while championing safety and productivity.
• Executes assignments, provides status updates, & project visibility to Operations Supervisor(s).
• Operate forklifts, counterbalance, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed.
• Stage and sort products; loads and unloads trailers.
• Stack totes, and/or pallets; move materials within the warehouse.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Quality control; ensure damaged products are sent out and identify damaged products when received.
