Qualifications

• 4 years of warehouse experience required
• 2 years of inventory or materials management experience preferred
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior forklift certification preferred
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred
• Ability to learn and use proprietary software required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions
• Ability to lead a small team, ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking, organizational skills, flexibility, numbers, time management, and execution are required

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and ensure safe handling of goods
• Observe and train lift drivers and provide feedback to supervision
• Monitor material handling practices and request corrective actions
• Demonstrate proper material handling techniques to lift personnel
• Educate supervision on packaging and stack height changes
• Maintain presence across all shifts
• Manage inbound and in-house damage claims and processes
• Record daily observations and report to management
• Assess loading/unloading techniques with documentation and photos
• Monitor clamp condition and stack lean measurements
• Coordinate inbound damage audits and audits requested by management
• Observe arrival conditions and analyze root causes, post findings
• Support QA and Continuous Improvement activities
• Participate in quality forums and drive improvements
• Perform other duties as needed
